FAQ's

Question 1: I'm not in Texas, can I still enroll in your program?

Yes! Here at IIOAAAB, we have had many students from other states and even countries! They were able to complete their program online, and then transfer their license to their local cosmetology/esthetics board successfully, and go on to open their own business or gain employment in our industry. For all out-of-state students, we do recommend checking to make sure that your license/course program hours will transfer smoothly. You can do this by contacting your local professional cosmetology/esthetician professional board.

Question 2: How much is tuition, and do you offer payment plans?

Tuition is $9,500, but most students choose a payment plan. We offer: In-house financing (15 months) — no credit check required Third-party options (up to 24 months) — as low as $47/week We’ll help you find the option that fits your budget.

Question 3: What’s included in the program cost?

You must provide (1) model to participate in the LIVE hands on portion of class. Let our Admissions Team know if you are coming from out of state. We will only provide models for students with valid proof of out of state residency.

Question 4: I am already in a program, or was in one previously, can I transfer?

As a transfer student, you may have fewer hours required, and less tuition cost! If you do have prior experience, please let us know at [email protected] or call/text us at (469) 289-2837 to learn more! Please note, in order to get your hours approved with TDLR as a transfer student, we will need a copy of either:Your Texas state Student permit/Student ID number (if currently enrolled in Texas or have been in the past 5 years) Your previous school's transcript

Question 5: Will I be able to use on-the-job hours or an internship as credit towards my hours?

We were able to get these hours approved for some students before! Here at IIOAAAB, we work with our students to create a customized learning experience. Some previous student examples are: Students who already work in a spa in a similar esthetician role, and are getting an esthetician license for their career.
